Not sure if and how it would affect us ....maybe some swells.

MIAMI -- (AP) -- A huge subtropical storm out in the Atlantic Ocean could become a tropical system and reach hurricane
strength later Monday, according to forecasters.

``This is a very large storm and swells generated by it could affect portions of the east coast of North America and the
north-facing beaches of the Bahamas and Greater Antilles during the next few days,'' said James Franklin, a hurricane
specialist at the U.S. National Hurricane Center in Miami.

Top sustained winds remained near 70 mph, just below the 74 mph threshold for a Category I hurricane, and some
strengthening was expected within the next 24 hours, Franklin said in the latest advisory on the system.

The storm had winds of 40 mph extending outward up to 690 miles, mostly north of its center. It was nearly stationary, with
slow and erratic movement expected through early Tuesday.

At 4 a.m. EDT, the center of Subtropical Storm Two was located near 30.2 north latitude, 55.6 west longitude, or about 555
miles east-southeast of Bermuda, according to the hurricane center advisory.

The island, a British territory in mid-Atlantic, was feeling little effect from the storm early Monday, Franklin said.

``The winds in Bermuda are pretty much 15 to 20 mph, with gusts up to 30 mph,'' he said. ``The winds are not particularly
strong there.''

Unlike tropical storms, subtropical storms do not have peak wind speeds close to their centers and can form at any time of the
year. Tropical storms only form during the Atlantic hurricane season, which runs from June 1 through Nov. 30 each year.
