The car was washed over during a rainstorm generated by Hurricane Olga a few weeks ago. Both passengers were rescued, and the bridge has since been reopened. The lane traffic is still one-way at the Bridge. From what I understand from Gerald Stuart of North Eleuthera, cars and trucks are currently using the bridge to transport people and goods.
