The HMBS Eleuthera has been sold to a south Florida businessman who is refitting her for private use! The Eleuthera is a 60' patrol craft that was recently decommissioned and sold. She is being fitted with new 12V71 N's. She is a 70's vintage english build Vosper Thorney Craft (sp?) built in England of a Kevlar Hull and Aluminum plated deck and superstructure. The new owner is planning to completely rebuild her and maintain the original lines and possibly the name. There is a great picture of her in her prime in the 1993 Yachtsman's guide. Should be a neat boat when completed!
