Local and central government have their issues as they do any where else in the world, but neither is completely incompetent as may have been
suggested.
The upshot of the situation is that people on the island have started talking to each other face-to-face, instead of through petitions and letters
to the editor.
Its been good for everyone involved, and the recent turnout for Harry O's internment cemented the fact that Harbour Island is a tight-knit
community that at heart will ultimately prevail.
