As a result of our exploratory visit in October we are preparing the first of our clinics to be held in Eleuthera. We arrive on island the 10th of March and the actual clinics will be held from the 13th throught the 16th. This initial effort will be directed at Potcakes "residing" in Gov. Harbour down to the Rock Sound area.Although we are still finalizing arrangements as regards veterinarian services we know that on the 15th and 16th the physical location of the clinics will be in the Rock Sound area. We have yet to determine if we will do one or two days in Gov. Harbour or transport all Potcakes down to Rock Sound.
There will be no cost to have a dog spayed/neutered but our hope is to fix as many females as possible. We are willing to pick up dogs anywhere, transport them and return them for those unable to bring dogs in to us. We will do everything within our power to encourage participation and cooperation. "Roaming" dogs, owned dogs and those in between are welcome. We will try and set up a phone contact on island for appointment and transportation requests. As always SNIP can use volunteers and donations. This program has had great success since 1999 in Abaco. This in unknown territory for us and we don't quite know what to expect on Eleuthera but after this March we will know better. Please feel free to email us with comments, suggestions etc. We know that this is primarily a N. Eleuthera board but we hope your interest in the welfare of the island's Potcakes extends from North to South.

More to come.
