We got a lead this morning that suggested we contact Donald Cooper of the BEST Commission to discuss the proposed marina project. Not being familiar with that group, I gave the BEST Commission folks a call to figure out where they fit in into the overall equation. It turns out that when the Office of the Prime Minister and the Bahamas Investment Authority get these kinds of proposals [ones that include dredging, environmental change, impact et al.], the BEST Commission is brought in as a monitoring agency. So, ahead and fax Donald Cooper at the BEST Commission, fax 242 327 4626.
