: An appeal: : Answer some of these questions first, before going off the deep end! : What are the FACTS we know about this development? : Have any planning or land use papers been filed in Nassau or Briland or elsewhere? : Does anyone actually own the land or are they in the process of closing--or whatever the English term is when you buy land? : Who is involved and how do we know they are involved? : What legal and regulatory permissions must they obtain before going ahead? : What public meetings must be held? : Who are the Nassau reporters--TV, radio and print--who would cover a story like this? What are their phone numbers and have they been contacted? : Which ministries have oversight? What regulations can be used to prevent or slow any action by the developer? : Who are the environmental and land use activists in the Bahamas who would take such a cause on? : Have the various modelling agencies, models and TV/movie stars who have an interest in preserving the bank and the island's appearance been contacted? : I hope this is of some help.
