If you can't regularly volunteer at the center, but do want to help, the following are some popular education software programs that have been requested by our instructors:
- The Learning Company - a whole series, or the individual titles Reader Rabbit and the Puzzle of the Pyramids;
- Treasure MathStorm, not MathBlaster;
- The Hooked on Phonics program, all ages [we already have the early ages covered];
- Living Books - Arthur's Computer Adventure
- Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego - any of the titles.
If you can bring any of these packages down with you on your next trip to Harbour Island, it'd be much appreciated .. and you'll get a tax-deductible receipt for your generous donation, as the computer center is run by the not-for-profit Briland Modem Fund.
