You argue that creatures have a place and purpose in this world. Well I do agree. However, does anyone complain when they kill all those blue marlins in the summer for tournament purposes. And does anyone complain when these fish are cut up and either distributed to the locals or thrown back into the sea. Is that too not animal cruelty.

Yes, and some of our reefs are being destroyed by natives and eve by people who don't even have the right to do so. However, it's being done!

And lets not forget that in order to build a local hotel or place of residence, one would also have to destroy trees to do so. On an island this would be inevitable and necessary for survival.

Last but not least, return and new tourist visit the island for two reasons and they are: to relax and to have a good time. I hardly believe that they are concerned about what types of Beverly Hills mansions or suburban style houses are being constructed.
Harbour Island still remains the quaint and friendly settlement it always has been, nevertheless, we too will advance along with time.

It is so easy for one to sit at a computer criticizing and pin-pointing problems that occur. But for those educated individuals who claim they comprehend the importance of conservation, this process of killing fish and destroying trees hasn't just started to happen and is not the only place where it exist.
