: The story was in fact relayed correctly. The shark was apprehended in the harbour, brought back to the Valentine's dock and shot. I'm glad that the shark was eaten, and not thrown away like those trophy fish that are just tossed aside after their capture, but the fact remains that the shark was shot at the dock and slaughtered on the dock in full view of many people. The 31 perfectly-formed shark babies were in full view of everyone, and that's the sad part of the story [for me, anyway]. Sharks are unnecessarily villifed by folks who have apparently seen "Jaws" just one too many times, and as a result are being dangerously and casually overfished. That's the sum of the discussion here, not whether anything was left out. It's just a difference of opinion as to the importance of the same set of facts. Mario did what he thought was right under the circumstances, and Andy and others disagreed as to the consequences of the action. Vive le difference.

No no Kimberly, the shark was shot along side the boat, she was to huge to handle.
