I don't know if these guys are reselling SkyCell service, but I have a SkyCell satphone on my boat and it works fine. Mike Barnacastle at 520-824-2261 can give you info on this service. The phones will run voice, fax or data. They are not portable like Irridium, the smallest ones look loke a briefcase.
