Have you been able to visit the island yet? We're a rather remote destination, so making a pit stop before you make such a radical move might make sense. When I was ten years old and growing up on the island, the only real educational option was to head to boarding school overseas for a few years. The island's great, but don't take for granted those necessities you're currently having met in the U.S. We're worlds different.
