my husband and i are applying for a position on the island. we are very excited about moving and working on harbor island. my only real concerns are: what schools are available for my 10 year old son, the island sounds small-are there many children that live year round on the island-my son is the ultimate social butterfuly! are there any summer camps available for children? the community center sounds like a wonderful place-what else is offered there? how would you describe life on the island for a family. we are from Rehoboth Beach Delaware-small beach town that we fell in love with. the closeness of the community is something i miss now that we are in maryland. and my son wants me to ask if there are a lot of dogs on the island. he loves dogs immensely!
