Are there any recordings of Charlie Lofthouse? As you probably know, lots of people have claimed writer's credit for many of the popular Bahamian songs of the 40's and 50's. Songs like Sponger Money, Jones Oh Jones, Pretty Boy, Little Nassau, My Name is Morgan and so on. I assume Blind Blake wrote some of them and I've heard Piccolo Pete claim some. I'd appreciate any light you can shed on a subject that's very interesting to me.
