Brother- you are pathetically petty.

1. That trip was not planned - it was last minute and that was all we could get.
2. We wanted to rent a house but there were none available.

On another note - thanks for keeping tabs on my 6+ month old posts. It feels good. I like it....

: Tourists should be encouraged to interact with and spend money at the local community businesses- not staying within resort walls to drink pina coladas and smell chlorine.

: : The resort should by its food from the local fisherman and gardeners. I have alot of ideas on this topic and look forward to sharing more of them. I will step back (for a moment) and allow another opinion to step up to the podium.

: Hi PM,

: I am glad to see that you have an interest in HI. However, January 6, you bragged about how you got good service by "telling off" a manager at the Pink Sands during check-in. You said that you and your party of six stayed for seven days. At that time, did you enjoy "staying within resort walls, drinking pina coladas and smelling chlorine"? By my rough calculations that would amount to more than $30,000 at the Pink Sands. Even if my calculations are wrong, just think how much good seven days worth of money for six people at the Pink Sands would do at the local level — Or was that story a figment of your imagination too?

: Much of the money spent at the resorts does trickle down to the local people. The resorts employ local people. They do buy local where possible and if competitive. If the resorts were not there, many tourists would not visit - so don't lose any sleep about it. I'm just trying to yank your chain a bit.

: Have a good day
