I think todays Immediate response program in Harbor Island has proven one thing that governments hold on Local Government and its using local government as a scape for one of the most productive areas in the Bahamas is self evident. Our governments are crude, obnoxious and do not have the interests of any areas other than Abaco, Nassau and Freeport at heart. They are uncaring, calous and tyrinical. Our system of governance in the Bahamas must be changed of the Out Islands are to prosper at any level at all. Spending only 1% of national revenue in Eleuthera is what the governments are all about. They don't really care about anyone other than themselves and their immediate income and issues.
