Welcome to the Briland board. If this is your first trip to the island you are in for an amazing trip, and you will find yourself planning on going back before you leave the island.
Runaway and Coral Sands are both very nice, right on the beach, pool, excellent food and a great view.
I think the main difference is the size. Coral Sands has a little over 30 rooms and Runaway has a total of 10, so it is a bit more intimate (and my favorite). I often head down the beach to Coral Sands for a conch burger at the beach bar.
You really can't go wrong with either choice, and I understand there is a meal plan available now so you can try several of the restaurants/resorts on island for dinner.
