There are some really good observations about the different tastes of Briland on these postings. At
last: a good subject for discussion that we can all "get our teeth into" (so to speak). There is
one very conspicious dining establishment left out which I find quite surprising, given the consistent good quality of its food: HARBOUR LOUNGE. Judy's kitchen turns out consistently excellent quality and a variety of taste sensations that are exciting. Granted, the Landing offers a more sedate and romantic atmosphere and very good food...no negatives here.
Harbour Lounge is more convivial but loaded with
the variety of people that makes Briland so interesting. And those conch fritters, conch chowder, and cracked conch are not greasy either!

All in all: HARBOUR LOUNGE IS MY FAVORITE SPOT!
Landing is #2. PINK SANDS BLUE BAR..great for lunch. BEST CONCH SALAD: Queen Conch, hands down.
ANGELA'S: Great for burgers and fried goodies.
MA RUBY'S: Great for family fare. Good down home
Bahamian cooking from Mike Higgs kitchen.
BREAKFAST: Island Deli. Especially when they have
grits. Good sandwiches too. DUNMORE BEACH is great as well but a bit too formal for this lad.

It is great to see Harbour Island expanding its choice of dining venues! Can't wait to get back
home and dig into all those conch goodies!

: Excuse me for saying this, but the food at the Landing is nothing but expensive and marginally good at best. Also, to describe Rica's food as "so Bahamian" makes me think you've never been to the Bahamas! In my humble opinion, the food at RH is best on the island and when I need a dose of overpriced portobello mushrooms I head somewhere else, say Pink Sands!!! If you want good Bahamian food, go to Angelas's!
