As someone who has eaten his way through every establishment on Briland at one time or another (it's been about 18 months since last visit) let me say that Dunmore has always had among the ebst food on the island. And the best food on Briland is up there with the best anywhere. Maybe not 3 stars in Michelin, but I bet Dunmore and the Landing--who are among the more adventuresome kitchens on the island--could easily win one star from those fussy Frenchies. Maybe more!

Runaway Hill might not win a French star because Miss Rika's food is so Bahamian, but I'd give it 2.5 of three!

Confucious say: It's fine to be skeptical, but eating is in the pudding!

: as i look below i only see three comments about them and many about other places as well. doesnt seem like alot. maybe the hotel is planting but maybe their guests are happy. i havent been but have heard good things so nothing negative to report as you might have been hoping. sorry

: : I have read numerous posts recently about Dunmore Beach Club's food...and each poster claims it is the "best food I ever had!" While I know Dunmore has an excellent reputation, these posts seem to be a little "over the top". They almost sound planted. What's the real scoop on the menu, the details on what makes it so special, etc.? We'll be visiting the island soon and need to know if we should give Dunmore a try for dinner. Sorry to sound a little skeptical, but objective opinions and info would be welcome.
