Surely this would violate Bahamian laws intended to protect fishing, reefs, etc. I would also think there would be some question as to whether houses in this area would result in greater pollution/trash in the bay.
I hope this is one of those nightmares from which one wakes up!
: Does anybody have any information about the proposed 150 slip marina to be constructed on the bonefish flats north of the power plant, home of "the tree"? We hear through the grapvine that there will also be guest villas constructed on stilts over the flats. A Mr. Roberts who owns Bayshore Marina in Nassau is the supposed principal.
