In reference to the marina proposal, as a native I believe that just the idea alone will cause great conflict amongst the people of Harbour Island, as it is so obvious. Those flats have been an attraction and activity bed for both tourist and natives alike. The tree that sits in the middle of the flats and has taken up residence there is also used by many catalog companys such as Victoria's Secrets, Newport News, who frequent the island. Much, as we can see will be at a lost.
However, I do believe that like many unresolved issues on Harbour Island, the natives, who have a tendency to backbite under their voices about problematic situations on the island should learn how to directly stand up for prosperity of the island.
