I can't think of any one in their right mind, who would sit to think, that some one that has no connection to Harbour Island can apply to Central or Local Government for permits to reclaim five pluss acres of Harbour Island bay flats to dredge and build a 150 slip marina.
I have seen and heard lots of crazy things reasently. Like the alleged,$300,000 Dunmore beach hotel owners paid someone high up in government, for the last piece of Crown land on the eastern shore, better known has the North beach of Harbour Island.

I am hopeing that if this is true that government Has sold Our Crown land to another land grabbing gready Racist With out first consulting with the local brilanders, then we should take as many junkanoo groups as can be organized, between here and south Eleuthera go and parade on that parsel of crown land, shake cowbells, beat drums blow horns, and make as much noise as humanly possible every midnight to dawn, until Tony Schogan bring himself, and who ever he sat down with to make the bedroom deal, takeing away our last bit of crown land from us Brilanders.
Is this the same thing that is about to happen right under our nose, where some one that has never contributed any thing what so ever to this Community, see the chance to reep and rape our land,
In this case our pristeen sea bed, and flats, our ecosystem/Bonefishfeeding grounds, one of the last remaining marine resurces that we has Brilanders have left.What will this do to this intire area? (Answer) Distroy it.
If Mr Roberts Has the kind of Money that it will take to develope what he proposes to do on our Bay flats I say maybe he should go and buy Valentine Yacht Club and Cleanup that dump That is been allowed to opperate has a Resort and Marina, and no one dare to speak out against the conditions there, where they are disgraceing our Briland Tourism Market. Harbour Island Infrastructure is right at brink of callaps.
Electricity,Telephone,Water,the dispicable Garbage system you name it, Its broken. Pray tell me how will our system support a new marina? even if they had their own paid for land to develope.
