Actually, that sounds exactly like America and that good old fashioned policy that I know all to well in my tourist-based town where I live, "Economic Racism". I'm not sure that I understand all the references to 9-11 and what that has to do with what you're talking about but it's too bad that you didn't bring this up back when Dunmore Beach Club was all the rage of this board and people couldn't stop talking about the FABULOUS FOOD blah blah blah- I wish the dear people of the island I know and love would stand up and fight in anyway they can. I fear that when businesses start opening that the locals can't afford- (ahem, the hideous jewelry store down on Bay Street that no one seems to be complaining about- If that doesn't look like a place waiting for a cruise ship I don't know what does!) you wind up with a really bad situation...
