upon this tragic issue? How can the rights and the patrimony of NATIVE BRILAND FOLK be usurped by
a stranger in our midst who has no history (as far
as this writer knows) of contribution to Briland's
people or its history..or its traditions?
The Light of Truth must be shined upon what smells
to be (perhaps) a "Sale to the Highest Bidder" of
Girl's Bank salt flats land where the bonefish roam and generations of Brilanders and Americans alike have learned to fly-fish and or meditate upon God's beautful handiwork found there at a
low tide.....
The facts must be put out on this Board for all to
witness. WHO has the facts on any permits, licenses or the like? WHO sold the patrimony of
Girl's Bank without the people of Harbour Island
having a voice in the matter from the very beginning? WHO are the individuals who are on
the receiving end of this deal...if there is a deal that has, in fact, reached a conclusion...let
us pray that is not yet the case! And, I ask you:
WHO in the government took money (if that be the
case!) to line their pockets on this transaction?
We need to know the facts...all the facts...in this potentially tragic affair so that cooler heads can prevail and our chance at true justice
be developed with a Plan To End The Pillaging of
Girl's Bank to the money changers sitting greedily at the Temple Gate.
We need a Plan and Leaders to Lead it.
