Aww gee whiz, water moccasins?.....as in poisonous snakes? Seriously, I had no idea there are water moccasins there, nor was I aware that they shoot out a maroon ink. One time I asked Big Red about what kind of snakes are on Briland, but I didn't get a straight answer out of him. Guess he didn't want to frighten me?
I'm a fairly recent visitor to H.I.,as I've only been vacationing there for 10 years. This message board has been so invaluable to local people and visitors.
My heart goes out to everyone there, facing this proposed development at Girls Bank. I can't imagine how awful it would be to be a permanent resident of Briland, and face the possibility, that this 'mess' could be built. It would be like someone telling me that they're putting a Walmart in my back yard!
