I suggest you start a campaign to oppose this development immediately. Surly your immediate neigbours and anyone who owns harbour front property on Harbour Island will support such a campaign. After all, if such an offensive development is permitted, it will establish a precedent and anyone who has a home on the harbour will be at risk of the same thing happening to them!
Also, "Reef Chief" is a huge yacht -- not only is it very long and wide, but it is also about three stories tall. Nobody would be allowed to build a three story building in front of your waterfront property -- why should they be permitted to park a three story yacht there?
Finally, the bay in front of Anchor House is shallow -- to accomodate a yacht the size of "Reef Chief" there will have to be a massive dredging project. What impact will that have on marine life and how will that impact the neigbouring properties?
Don't delay -- start today by organizing a campaign to oppose the applications to extend the dock and to dredge the sea bottom. Begin with your neighbours and all harbour front property owners.
