Sorry that you feel that way, Ken. The only intent of Briland.com was to get a strong TOTAL community discussion going, which we've been able to do thanks to more locals online via the computer center and their own setups at home. We've been able to waylay the closure of North Eleuthera airport during high season, and stop the proposed dredging and development of Girls Bank, all thanks to the voice of unified locals/expats/Brilanders overseas coming together as they have never done before to protest such grotesque development. I'm sorry that you're bitter about the way things went down with your time share, but you're targeting the wrong source of your frustration. Everyone behind the scenes at Briland.com is doing their level best to protect Harbour Island from becoming yet another yuppie sideshow a la Paradise Island.
In any case ... Barbara and Charlie are great people, the Dickies are great people ... and I'm not going to take sides because I'm hearing so many different stories. I'm glad that they're going to sit down and talk about it, though. The island's too small for harmful chit-chat.
